Food 4 Kids
Food 4 Kids check in day is tomorrow! Bring your first week’s donations to the chapel along with a note stating teachers name and number of food items dropped off. This is only the beginning, our drive continues until April 18.

Community Service Hours
Reminder to all GRADE 12’s that Community Service Hours are due April 1st!! Hours must be completed to buy Graduation Gala Tickers as well as attend Graduation.
Any grade 11 or 12 students interested in being a peer tutor, please come to Guidance to sign-up. If you were a tutor last semester and wish to continue this semester, please come to Guidance to sign-up!
Grade 9 retreats are being held this week, we could use a couple of more leaders for tomorrow’s retreat. Please add your name to the schedule outside the chaplaincy office is you are able to help.
Do you have questions about life and faith? Would you like to discuss life’s questions om am informal, accepting environment? Join this student-led group for food, fun and good conversation on Fridays from 2:30 to 4:00.
Junior Boys Hockey Tryouts
This is an announcement to all grade 9 and 10 boys who have signed up to tryout for the junior boys’ hockey team. The $45 tryout fee MUST be paid using Cash Online. Payment must be made prior to the first tryout on Wednesday March 20th. Please print your receipt and bring it to room 221, or bring it to the arena and hand it to him prior to the first tryout. If you missed the meeting but you would still like to tryout for the team, please see Mr. deVries in room 221.
Women in Careers Dinner
Reminder to any students interested in attending the Women in Careers Dinner this Thursday make sure to bring your permission form back to Ms. Lauc or Ms. Boileau as soon as possible. All Students who have signed up and brought back permission forms, will be called down to Guidance tomorrow to confirm details.

A senior citizen of Georgetown living in the Mountainview and Delrex area is looking for a local high school student to help with clearing the snow from their driveway and with other small tasks outside the house. If you are interested in this volunteer opportunity, please come to Student Services for info.
Zach Sutherland and Kaya Firth Resiliency Scholarship
The Zach Sutherland and Kaya Firth Resiliency Scholarship recognizes students who have demonstrated resiliency despite facing loss and adversity in their lives. This award is for $2500 and the deadline to apply is May 15. Come to Student Services for more info.

Jean Lumb Awards
For any students of Chinese heritage, the Jean Lumb Foundation is sponsoring $1000 for various categories including academics, athletics and community services. The application deadline is May 20, 2019 come to Student Services for more info.
The Wellington-Halton District women’s Institute is sponsoring the Dr. Ethel Chapman Scholarship for $750 and the Wellington-Halton District Community College and Trade School award for $500. The applicants for both awards should have shown personal growth and must complete and submit the application by March 31.
